Part of life
Simple pleasures of life - learning to move and coordinate our bodies is fascinating to those who watch.
And of course I had to add another meal picture. =)

Good food
Good food is good for the soul and a blessing from God. He has given us so many beautiful colors in the things that we eat. I complimented this meal with some delicate sweet tea.
My housemate loves to make bread and I enjoy the wholesome aroma. She was enthusiastic when I asked if I could take some pictures of her handywork.

Oh, the Goodness of Food
Over the past few years, I have found a true enjoyment in cooking and partaking in simple meals. There is something wonderful about delicious homemade food. God has given us so many unique flavors with herbs and fresh produce.
This is one of my favorite meals to fix and eat - marinated and seasoned salmon with red lentil soup.

A couple of more photos
These are some photos that I took while up in Maryland over Thanksgiving. Since I don't get to see much of seasons here in Texas, it was quite a treat to see the beautiful leaves that were still changing color.

What purpose do photos serve?
Photography has come to be an important and fulfilling part of my life. My heart swells when I am able to capture beauty and life on 'film' the way I see it. And then there are those times when using the camera, a new perspective is pulled out of the ordinary. We are so often prone to go through life without noticing the amazing people, places, and landscape around us. Through photography I long to remove the mundane from the ordinary and replace it with a new appreciation of what we have. God has given me a passion and I'm excited to see how He chooses to use it.
